Become a part of Lafayette's Most recognized "Educational" Equestrian Center. Lessons and instruction from beginning to end!  Over 24 years here in West Point!

Our Instructors,

Pam Bowen Gibson has ridden and studied under many professional trainers and educators. Pam continues still continues her education by riding several clinics year round and enjoys her lessons with trainer!  Always room to improve!!

Her love has always been in the Western saddle, but you will see her in a Hunt seat saddle every now and then.  Pam was taught years ago with Dressage principles and that has

also been the foundation for Wild About Horses Horses Equestrian Center.  Pam has been involved with 4-H for almost 20 years, Coached the Purdue Western Equestrian Team for 6 years and have enjoyed IEA with several of her students that formed a team and competed together for a few years.  Unfortunately, Covid put a damper on that for now!

Pam has been teaching clinics in Horsemanship, Jumping, Cowboy and Western Dressage throughout the Midwest for the last 5 years and enjoys working with clients and their horses.  From kids to adults, Pam is well rounded to be able to teach, educate, and inspire.

Jen Tilley has found another form of teaching she loves teaching Horsemanship at Wild About Horses. She has always loved horses, and is enjoying this hobby with her daughter Kaylyn.  Jen holds a Masters Degree in Education, and had been a 1st grade teacher for over 20 years.  Woodland has been blessed with her for the last 7 years. She will be a 2nd grade teacher at Cole Elementary starting this fall of 2022!  Congratulations!

She has been our instructor for Summer Camp in 2020 and 2023 - the best years we have had!  She continues to teach our weekend program!  She is a great instructor!

When Pam and Jen are not teaching in the barn, you will probably see them training together, as they are both have goals for competing in Dressage.  They both love riding, training and inspiring one another. They also love trail riding and camping with the Gibson/Tilley and several other fun families!

Haul in or ride a lesson horse, and ride under instructors with years of experience in teaching, not just instructors that are good riders. There is a difference. Let us share our experience to make your riding more pleasurable and confident.

We are instructors with years of experience by riding under the best trainers in the U.S., and hands on clinical experience under world trainers to stand behind our instruction and our reputation...   Let us create a lesson package that meets your goals and desires..
