Sign up today by calling Pam @ 765-714-7403. New classes are always available. WAH believes that new students should have 1 on 1 instruction when first learning to ride. If you are riding with a spouse or another Adult, we may start you together.
Private lessons are a good way to start your riding experience, it allows our instructors to give you the most information needed to be confident and comfortable. Once you are comfortable with your horse walking and independently guiding them, then we will teach you to trot. When mastering the trot on the rail, you are ready for your 1st group lesson.
Students are expected to wear long pants, and a boot with a small heel. Please no plastic soles on boots, and NO RAIN BOOTS! No sandals or platform shoes are acceptable. Students will be provided with ASTM helmets that meet the Equine Safety Code and are expected to wear them at all times while in contact with horses. ASTM helmets can also be purchased locally.
